Square Enix’s Next Co-Op Shooter Coming to Xbox Game Pass Day One

Outriders is an upcoming game from PCF studios, the same studio behind very successful titles like Painkiller and Bulletstorm. This is going to be a Co-Op RPG game where players can select from four different characters with their own unique skills and abilities. The good news? You can play it for free with a Xbox Game Pass subscription.

According to a recent announcement, Outriders will be available on the Game Pass on day one for Consoles and mobile devices (Via XCloud). Outriders released their demo a while back and most critics found the gameplay to be interesting, but many things still need polishing, like the character creation tool for example.

The game is coming to consoles on the 1st of April, which is also the official release date. If you want to try the game before making a decision, download the demo here. Sadly for PC players, the game is coming to Game Pass for consoles only and mobile devices via Xbox Cloud.

OUTRIDERS is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe.

As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet.

With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal.

Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, OUTRIDERS offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.
