Sony Interactive Entertainment Delays The Last of Us Part 2 & Marvel’s Iron Man: Possible Cancellation May be Incoming

This virus spread is ruining one thing after another. While it is bringing life to some apps again, such as Houseparty and gave life to the Messenger App by Facebook for Desktop. Anyway, on to the bad parts of this pandemic, there have been certain developments among the Sony camp. This news relates to the recent Tweet from Sony. They have Tweeted the following.

An End to The Last of Us 2 & Iron Man VR?

According to the Tweet, SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) has put a pause on the upcoming titles: The Last of Us Part II and Marvel’s Iron Man VR. As we all know, both these games have been talked about for quite some time now.

Coming to the Last of Us, that game came out about 7 years ago. Following the story of the protagonist, years later, many gamers have been waiting for this title for quite some time now. The game was so good that it was remastered for the PS4 as well. This was inevitable too. This is because it came out right at the end of the PS3’s lifecycle.

Its upcoming part has been announced for quite some time now. The game has seen multiple delays in the last couple of months. First it was supposed to come out back in February but got delayed to May and now this.

Coming to Marvel’s Iron Man VR, the game was announced last year. It looked great from the live demo. They used VR so eloquently to give a new immersive experience to gaming, with Iron Man. They even added a whole newly designed armor, never before seen of course.

As of today though, both these games have been delayed indefinitely. Many people will be infuriated. While some may feel this is part of Sony’s  plan to hold these games for the PS5, some believe Sony couldn’t quite get the games right. Either way, it is quite sad to know that we won’t be seeing these titles any time soon, if we do get to see them, that is.
