Sony Hires Backbone to Develop its First IPhone Supported Controller

Sony has recruited accessory firm Backbone to create a PlayStation-supported version of the renowned Backbone One Mobile controller for iPhone, which is already available via Backbone.

The design team collaborated with PlayStation’s bright minds to create the look and feel of the Backbone One PlayStation Edition. The beautiful colors, materials, and finishes are all inspired by the DualSense wireless controller design on the PS5 system, right down to the translucent face buttons and its visually unique, floating look. It fits nicely in with the other PS5 goods, such as the Pulse 3D headset, which can be connected straight to the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition.

It supports PS4 and PS5 Remote Play games, as well as App Store titles and other game streaming services that enable controllers, such as Genshin Impact and Call of Duty: Mobile. Players may personalize their PlayStation experience by downloading the Backbone App. Various PlayStation integrations, such as unique glyphs portraying the famous PlayStation shapes and the option to explore hundreds of game titles, are available within the program.

At launch, Backbone One – PlayStation Edition is available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, with other countries to come.
