Sasha Grey is Voicing A Character in Cyberpunk 2077

Ash, a new playable character in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty, will be voiced by Sasha Grey. She tweeted that she will be playing the role of Ash, a radio host on the game’s fictional station 89.7 Growl FM, in the future content update.

Grey’s voice will be used for the new character, but whether or not her appearance will be used for the character’s in-game model is currently unknown.

While in Night City, players can tune into a community radio station hosted by Sasha Grey, whose character Ash will be the voice of the station. Players will have lots of opportunities to tune in, even if they aren’t actively listening to a radio, as radios feature in environmental noise and sound in Night City’s clubs, establishments, houses, pubs, and even certain stores.

As time goes on, fans’ original music and productions will be featured on the local radio station. CD Projekt Red is seeking for fan submissions, and the deadline for sending them in is November 30, 2022. The radio station will go live sometime in 2023, after the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, though an exact date has not been announced.

The community has been waiting patiently to learn more about the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, and now they have some idea of what to expect. In this new chapter, Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as the legendary Johnny Silverhand, who has haunted protagonist V throughout the original novel. In addition, V will be taken by Phantom Liberty to an uncharted region of Night City, thought to be a hidden section of Pacifica. Supposedly, the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty mod will provide a cyberpunk spy-thriller experience, with V swearing allegiance to the New United States of America.

As expected, CD Projekt Red has announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC will be released in 2023. For the time being, however, we have no further details. Phantom Liberty is an add-on for Cyberpunk 2077 that will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
