Every new year in the smartphone industry starts with Samsung releasing its S-series flagship device. This year Samsung went with three models, one of which was so expensive that recommending the S20 Ultra to anyone felt like a stretch. However, the Galaxy S-series has always been an epitome of success and quality for Samsung and Android. The leaks of the upcoming S21 are ramping up, and it feels like this time around, Samsung may end-up pushing high-resolution sensors with buzz words like 100x zoom again. More on it here.
Now, Samsung has trademarked the name ‘Buds Beyond’ on EUPIO (European Intellectual Property Office). As of today, the trademark is yet to be reviewed by the EUPIO so, a lot of information is beyond the veil. It is a Class 9 trademark with keywords “Wireless earphones for smartphones” and “earphones,” etc. The name does have the word ‘buds’ in it, which refers to Samsung’s truly wireless earphones debuted alongside the Galaxy S10 two years ago. However, it is still early to tell whether this will be another flagship version or an affordable device.
According to Gizmochina, the trademark may be related to the rumored Galaxy Buds 2, which may release alongside the S21/30 series smartphones. However, it is too early to tell whether the “Buds Beyond” will release alongside the S21/30 series or not.
Lastly, Samsung is likely to start the production of the upcoming smartphones very soon. If the TWS earphones are going to release with the smartphones, we’ll definitely hear more before the launch in January next year.
