The Samsung S10 X and Huawei P30 Pro are two of the most anticipated smartphones that are coming soon. When you talk about flagship devices then you expect them to offer top of the line hardware. With technology advancing so fast you wonder what that next step could be.
It seems that both Samsung and Huawei are taking the additional RAM approach for their upcoming flagship devices. According to recently leaked images that were found on Weibo, both the Samsung S10 X and Huawei P30 Pro will come with 12 GB of RAM. This is more RAM than what the Android OS could ever use.
This not only tells us the hardware configuration but hints that the Samsung S10 could be available in two different versions. The X model will come with 12 GB of RAM while the non-X model could feature 6 or 8 GB of RAM. The non-X model will be cheaper keeping in mind how expensive RAM modules are these days.
Furthermore, the reports also mention that the upcoming Samsung S10 X 5G will support 5G. Even though 5G is not available right now, this could be a nice feature to have if you do not upgrade your phone every year. This means that in total there will be 4 different versions of the Samsung S10; the S10, S10 Plus, S10 X and S10 X 5G. That seems to be overkill but we will see how enthusiasts react to this decision once the smartphones are available on the market.
The smallest S10 is expected to come with a 5.8-inch display. The larger options will come with a 6.44-inch screen. It is expected that the standard S10 will come with a single primary camera and a fingerprint scanner on the side. The bigger models will come with a dual camera setup and the X model could feature a triple camera setup.
The Huawei P30 Pro was confirmed by Huawei’s Richard Yu at IDA 2018. Samsung is going to release it’s first 5G phone next year but it is expected that Huawei is going to launch one sooner than that. This is initial information so you should take this with a grain of salt. We will keep you updated regarding both devices so stay tuned for more information.
