In a recent leak Twitter user Ben Geskin claims that the Budget version of Samsung Galaxy S 10 or S10 Lite will come with a Snapdragon 8150 or 845 processor along with an optional 4/6 GB of RAM and storage choices of 64/128 GB. The phone would have a flat Infinity–O display, named after the shape of the notch/cut-out. The infinity display promises a new, immersive and grand experience for the users, enabling a larger screen size without the need of a larger phone. In addition, the tweet also claims that the fingerprint sensors will be mounted on the sides.

Following the trend of higher-end smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will also feature dual back cameras and the price is expected to fall in the middle of $650 – $750.
From the price bracket and the specifications of the phone, it is quite evident that Samsung is trying to consolidate its hold on the budget segment of the smartphone market. With Xiaomi and Huawei increasing their influence on the global smartphone market, Samsung has been feeling the heat, which is evident from the reduction in its demand. Introduction of an entry-level budget model of the Galaxy S10 might be Samsung’s answer to tackle the growing demand of its Chinese competitors.
