The South Korean giant Samsung is getting ready to announce the next-gen Galaxy Note 10 lineup phones later in August this year. However, ahead of the official announcement, we have new leaks regarding the upcoming Samsung’s phablet almost on a daily basis. Today the Galaxy Note 10 5G variants Geekbench listings appear online which confirms the device is indeed power and brings all goodies on board to be the fastest Android phone in the market.
The two Samsung branded phones bearing model number SM-N976V and SM-N976B makes an appearance on Geekbench test. The Geekbench listing shared by Dimitri12 on Slashleaks. Those who are aware the aforementioned models are expected to go official as Note 10 5G variants.
Almost all rumors indicate Samsung will be bringing two variants of Note 10 lineup. The base model will have a smaller 6.28-inches display whereas the Pro or Plus model will have 6.75-inches AMOLED display. Both the Note 10 variants are expected to have 5G models as well. The Geekbench scores give a pretty good idea regarding what to expect from the device in terms of hardware prowess.
The SM-N976V is the top of the line model, it is running on the Qualcomm’s Octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset with 12GB RAM. As OS it is pre-installed with Android Pie. It achieves 3,529 points on single-core test whereas on multi-core test it achieves impressive 10,840 points. Just for the sake of reminder, the Galaxy S10 Plus achieved 10,615 scores on multi-core test whereas the standard Galaxy S10 was slightly behind with 10,576 points. Surprisingly the single-core test performance isn’t equal to the Galaxy S10 lineup.
The second phone SM-N976B is the standard model. It is powered up by the Samsung’s Exynos 9825 chipset with 8GB RAM. On single-core test, it manages to achieve 3,557 points whereas on multi-core test the device achieves 9,654 points.
It is important to mention the scores aren’t finalized because most likely the devices are pre-installed with pre-release software that’s why we can expect the final version will be well optimized and will perform better.
From what we heard so far the Galaxy Note 10 will have tweaked design. The front-facing side will have punch-hole in the center for the selfie camera. On the rear side, you will get quad rear cameras aligned vertically on the top left corner. The Galaxy Note 10 is rumored to be the Samsung’s first phone without 3.5mm headphone jack.
As nothing is from the official sources that’s why we will recommend taking the Geekbench listing scores with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
