As we all know by now, The Samsung Galaxy A series will be making a return this year. Samsung plans to launch three phones under the A series this year. The A50, A30, and A10. However, today we will be mainly focusing upon the A50, which is expected to be the most expensive Galaxy A 2019 series smartphone.

We first started hearing about this phone back in December 2018 with the benchmark leak. Furthermore, we got insignificant leaks here and there but today, we got a look at leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A50. A twitter based leakster who goes by the name, Ishan Agarwal tweeted out the render.

This front of the phone will feature a waterdrop notch which is now also being called the Infinity U display. The panel, on the other hand, will be a Full HD+(1080 x 2340) 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which will support the unusual aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The waterdrop notch will be the host to the large 25-megapixel front-camera, which should allow users to snap sharp and crisp selfies. Moreover, an under-display fingerprint reader will also be featured on the phone. What seems to be surprising is the absence of a Bixby button, but then again these are just leaks and who knows? Samsung just might include a Bixby button at the end of the day.

Coming to the back of the phone, we can see that Samsung has ditched the quad camera setup which was featured on the Samsung Galaxy A9 for a triple camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy A50. The triple cameras are widely speculated to be a 25MP+5MP+8MP setup. However, we cannot confirm this at the moment. The presence of the 3.5mm jack is certainly a sight for sore eyes. The other features don’t really come as a surprise for a mid-tier phone.

PriceKart has also leaked a Rendered image of the Samsung Galaxy A50.

If priced competitively, the Samsung Galaxy A50 can be a killer phone and might just help Samsung in the fight against companies like Xiaomi and Oppo. At this current moment, we have no idea when Samsung plans on unveiling the phone. Reports suggest that it will only be a couple weeks after the release of the S10 series.
