Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34 Renders Posted Online Before Official Release

Samsung has officially announced their Galaxy Unpacked event, and there is news that renders of the front faces of both the upcoming A54 and A34, Samsung’s midrange phones, have been leaked. We do not know if these phones will be displayed at the Unpacked event, but earlier speculations indicate they will be introduced around the beginning of 2023. Here is the information that has been leaked, along with what we already know through rumors.

The display on the Galaxy A34 5G features an Infinity-U notch, whereas the display on the Galaxy A54 5G features a more modern Infinity-O cutout instead. The green hues of the frame appear to be an exact match for the Galaxy A34’s back panel in leaked renders.

The design, similar to the earlier A series phones, appears to have been largely inspired by the flagship S series (the S22, to be exact), with no camera housing and three protruding cameras on the back. However, the build quality will not be comparable to that of the flagships, and it is unlikely that these two mid-range phones would have more in common with the Galaxy S23 flagship series than a few simple aesthetics like the camera bumps.

This is more of an effort on Samsung’s part to unify the design language in a way that is more cohesive, as opposed to an attempt by Samsung to make its flagship phones look less expensive. According to rumors, the Galaxy A54 will have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the unannounced Exynos 1380 processor. The phone will also have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5,100-mah battery with 25-watt fast charging, and IP67 resistance to dust and water.

Identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy A34 is expected to have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and an Exynos 1280 processor. The primary camera is expected to be 48 megapixels, while the battery is predicted to be 5,000 mAh and allow 25W charging. The phone will most likely run Android 13 with One UI 5 on top, and it will presumably keep its IP67 rating for water resistance.

As for colors, earlier leaks showcase them to be Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy, and Awesome Green, however, there is no official confirmation. The Galaxy Unpacked event is now close, and we will make sure to keep you informed of any developments leading to that.
