Rumours Claim Apple May Announce AirPods Pro 2 & iPhone SE 3 in April 2021 with Major Changes

As we progress through 2021, Apple should not be counted out of the running. While the company had a nice year in 2020, they are set to outdo that. None of the Apple products that came the year before were a dud. Now, we wait for a possible April event where we would actually see some new hardware. While people do wait for the next generation of iPad Pros, some leaks from MacRumors are pointing at the next generation of iPhone SE and the AirPods Pro.

The AirPods Pro

The current generation of AirPods Pro came out back in 2019. They have not been refreshed since then. According to the report from WinFuture and MacRumors, the company may be looking to upgrade these in April. The timeline follows this, apparently. Now, they claim that Apple may be reducing the size of the AirPods altogether but this isn’t certain. Obviously, after such a long period between the two versions, they are to make changes internally as well. As for the colours, while the report does not mention anything about it, we believe that Apple may play around with the colours. This would be in line with the current generation of AirPods Max. Again, that is just based on speculation and nothing more.

The iPhone SE 3

Coming over to the other product in the spotlight, the iPhone SE 3. Now, it has been in the news that Apple may be launching a Plus version of the device but it seems like they are delaying it indefinitely. As for the regular upgrade, they believe the company may use the body from the iPhone 11 Pro. This seems a bit off. The 11 would make much more sense. As for the aesthetics, Apple will not be giving the FaceID option because of the budget restriction. Instead, the power button may be infused with TouchID.

In the end, these are just rumours and speculations and should not be trusted or relied upon entirely. An interesting take overall though.
