Rumour Suggests Xbox Series X and Elden Ring To be Revealed in an Event right before E3

It hasn’t been long since Microsoft unveiled its latest and greatest from the Xbox camp. The Xbox Series X was revealed a couple of days ago, and while people may have mixed feelings about its looks, they most certainly can’t wait for the beast that is on the inside. The performance promised by Microsoft in their announcement post was quite extraordinary, making it the real next-generation console.

In all this haste, Microsoft continues to beat out Sony to their response. In another article on WCCFTCH, the company plans on revealing the entire thing before E3. Even now, it seems Microsoft did things pretty quickly. It was anticipated that the device would be revealed at E3 before its release late in 2020 or even early 2021.

Right now, though, we see the Microsoft team way ahead of schedule. Not only that, the name suggests that it may just not be one single console. The “Series” bit in it throws away all the rumours that may build up along the way.

Being ahead of schedule, according to the post, Shpeshal Ed stated in a recent XboxEra Podcast that the next-generation console, the Xbox Series X would be revealed officially somewhere between April and May.

This would be ahead of the E3 conference. Not only that but the man added that the title Elden Ring would be featured at that event too. Now, this is not a piece of confirmed news but only a rumour. Though it can be taken seriously given Shpeshal’s credibility, but, it would be wise not to hold on to this news just yet. Apart from that, if it is true, the Xbox camp would have massive brownie points. Not only are they capturing all their future customers, but they’re also doing it in classic fashion and availing the economic first-mover advantage. Your move now, Sony.
