NVIDIA’s RTX 4070 Specs Have Yet Again Changed, Now Surpasses the RTX 3090 Ti

The RTX 4070 was leaked a while back featuring 7168 Cuda cores and 10GB of GDDR6X memory running across a narrow 160-bit bus. This was refuted by many, however, leaks said otherwise. The RTX 4070 was heavily bottlenecked by its thin bus and enthusiasts complained that the small 10GB of VRAM may cause stutters if high quality textures are used.
There is an update of RTX 4070.

RTX 4070 New vs Old
- 7680 vs 7168 Cuda cores (7% increase)
- 12GB VRAM vs 10GB VRAM (20% increase)
- 192 bit-bus vs 160 bit-bus (20% increase)
- 21Gbps vs 18Gbps (16% increase)
- 504GBps vs 360GBps (40% increase)
Now this may seem awfully similar to the RTX 4070 Ti, although some leaks state that the RTX 4070 Ti will be a refresh arriving next year with G7 memory. Such specifications on the 4070 puts it extremely close to the RTX 3090 Ti. Interestingly, kopite7kimi also mentioned the TSE benchmarks where this SKU scores more than 11,000 points.

The performance per watt increases massively as compared to our previous benchmarks. With the RTX 4070 edging closer to the 4080 in terms of efficiency.

The leaked power consumption still stands at 300W despite a massive increase in specifciations. However, this may be subject to change as more leaks pop up.

We had a few leaks regarding the -70 series from Lovelace a while back. Take a look at them for more information.
- RTX 4070 Ti on par with the RTX 3090 Ti
- Old RTX 4070 against the RTX 3080
