Over a decade since its release, a sequel to Rockstar’s popular college-themed game Bully is nowhere in sight. According to some recently discovered casting calls, it is highly likely that the developer may be working on Bully 2.
Shared by RockstarIntel, who learned the information from Casting Director Jessica Jefferies, a total of seven new casting calls have been released. While the source does not give out further information, a glimpse of the requirements give us a pretty good idea of what they are for.
Aimed for younger applicants such as teenagers, the call reads, “Mild violence and profanity will be used in scenes with the young performer. The project itself is a thriller/drama and all scenes with the young performer will be handled with sensitivity.”
The casting calls state that the positions are required for a “new unannounced video game title with a leading UK games developer.” Additionally, they also mention that shooting will take place at Pinewood Studios, a popular British studio located in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire.
All the evidence points to the casting calls being made for a Bully game, especially as some calls even mention “college professors”. Take this information with a grain of salt, as this by no means official confirmation, and is a rumor at best. As basically the entire gaming community is hyped for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption sequel, Rockstar might have been more inclined to pursue the same path with Bully.
