ROCCAT unveils striking new mechanical keyboard series – Vulcan

Just recently, the hardware designing brand, ROCCAT has announced its new lineup of mechanical keyboards titled as ‘Vulcan’. As per the initial reports, it features a self-developed Titan Switch Tactile and is being claimed as the fastest and most responsive keyboard series from the company. However, one thing that is really making the hardware stand out, is Vulcan’s gorgeous looking unique design.

Andreas Jost, Head of Industrial Design at ROCCAT Studios says, The most important thing about a mechanical keyboard are its switches, we wanted to showcase them. Interestingly, the team designers exactly did so, as the Vulcan comes with transparent housing on switches enabling the players to view the inside mechanism while they press the ultra-light keycaps.

Furthermore, judging from the first impressions, the Titan Switch Tactile seems to fit perfectly with ROCCAT’s new RGB lighting engine, AIMO. With the high-quality materials and components used in the Vulcan, the company has reduced the mechanical shattering during keystrokes, allowing the firmware to efficiently identify the signals 20% swifter than the rival keyboards.

Vulcan includes the anodized aluminum top plate to provide a tough and durable structure, a professional grade mechanical media controls, magnetically removable wrist rest along with adjustable rubberized feet bringing comfort to the next level.

ROCCAT describes the new keyboard as a product which is “developed with passion following the renowned principles of German design and engineering. It is a precision gaming tool that lets you sense the performance from first glance and feel it from the first key stroke.”

Noting that the Vulcan 120 AIMO would be available to buy online from June 10, while in Retail from July 1.
