Unannounced League of Legends Spinoff Reportedly Leaked Online

There are rumors circulating online that the Korean Rating Board may have accidentally disclosed sensitive information about a League of Legends game. Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is what the listing calls the game, but we don’t know much else about it.

Gematsu discovered this at first, and we learn from the description that it is an action game rated for those aged 12 and up. A League of Legends-based Twitter account called Osevno later posted a screenshot claiming to show the game’s age system. In this case, we’re talking about a game published by Riot Games’ Riot Forge division, in which indie developers are given complete control over the League of Legends IP in order to make games with meaningful endings.

Riot Forge has yet to verify the existence of The Mageseeker, and there is no word on when it will be released. However, as the South Korean Game Ratings Committee has already made the information public, it can be safely assumed that the announcement is not too far away, and we may see the game being released this year.

According to the information leaked, Sylas will reportedly take the lead role as the game’s protagonist, and Demacia will apparently also have some sort of part to play in the game. While Riot hasn’t confirmed the existence of Megaseeker just yet, they have unveiled two other League of Legends spinoffs.

There isn’t much else we can tell you about the game at this time but be assured that we’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Until then, feel free to share your thoughts on this new game below.
