How to Reset Windows 7 Password

PC Login Now is an easy to use program that lets you reset your administrator or  other user account passwords.

At the time of writing this post, i checked their website to download the latest version but unfortunately, their domain has expired.

So i had to ask one of my customers to send me the copy i once  sent them.  You can download PC Login Now by Clicking Here

After it has been downloaded, run the program and select a destination where you want the ISO image to be extracted.

This can either be a USB Flash Drive or a Disc with which you will boot your computer.

To burn it to a CD/DVD/USB use any free ISO burning tool.  See Free ISO Burner

Once the media is burned insert it into the computer/laptop. Ensure that you change the boot order from the BOOT tab so it can boot from either the disc or the usb drive. This is done within BIOS.  Keys to enter BIOS are shown when you start-up the computer. Save your changes and exit. The computer will restart automatically and boot from the burned media and will load PC Login Now instead of Windows 7.

Newer computer and notebook models allows you to quickly change the boot order.

Once it starts up you will see this screen:

pcloginnow-1

Input 1 here and hit Enter. Wait for PC Login Now to start-up.

Then, you will see the following screen:

Click Next at this screen. Choose your windows installation and select the account you wish to reset password for. After the password has been reset, restart the computer  with the PC Login Now disk/usb removed.
