Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB Accidentally Listed by PowerColor, Leaking the Specifications & a Possible Naming Restructure

PowerColor has put up a listing for the long-awaited Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB, revealing everything apart from the pricing. This is most likely an accident and has been brought to light by hardware leaker All_The_Watts.
Prior to this leak, the 60 CU model was considered to the be Radeon RX 7800 (Non-XT). However, it seems that AMD is, yet again, switching a few things up. The full-fat Navi32 GPU will now launch as the RX 7800 XT, with Navi31 exclusive to the RX 7900 series.
Red Devil Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB Listed
Users can view the product themselves here. We cannot guarantee that the listing will stay up for long, so we have taken a few screenshots just in case. We’ll go over the model listed in a bit. However, now it has been officially confirmed that AMD has rebranded the RX 7800 as the RX 7800 XT.

The previous performance benchmarks we saw of the RX 7800, where it was 17% faster than the RX 6800 should now correspond to the RX 7800 XT. If AMD is to launch an RX 7800 (Non-XT) in the near future, it will probably be at most 10-15% faster than RDNA2’s RX 6800.
Packing the full-fat Navi32 GPU, the RX 7800 XT will ship with 60 Compute Units. The 16GB of VRAM should be plenty for 1440p and even entry-level 4K gaming. Using 18Gbps memory over a 256-bit memory interface, the bandwidth amounts to 576GB/s.

The leak does not mention the TBP, but that should be around 245–260W. In addition, the GPU has a base game clock of 2.255GHz, going up to 2.565GHz.
Red Devil RX 7800 XT Overview
The PowerColor Red Devil RX 7800 XT features a triple-fan cooling solution and the brand’s traditional red-colored theme. For the heat dissipation, we find a set of 8 x 6φ heat pipes and a Copperplate that makes direct contact with the GPU die and VRAM modules.

In the power delivery department, the 11+3+1+2+1 phase VRM design guarantees no hiccups even at high loads. The GPU also has a dual-BIOS option, giving users the choice for an OC BIOS or a more silent BIOS.

For those RGB lovers out there, this GPU also has adjustable front, side, and backplate ARGB. Users can control these settings via the company’s PowerColor Devilzone RGB control software. Furthermore, you can sync the GPU’s RGB with your motherboard using the provided ARGB cable.

Release Date
AMD will announce the Navi32 series of GPUs later this month at Gamescom. The RX 7800 XT should be announced alongside the RX 7700 / RX 7700 XT. As for the pricing, expect it to be higher than before thanks to the extra tax you may pay for the ‘XT‘ variant.
