Rainbow Six Siege Operation Phantom Sight is now live on the test servers, and dataminers have been busy digging up all sorts of unreleased cosmetics. The most notable of the bunch is definitely the Smoke elite set, but it seems there’s a lot more hidden in the files. As discovered by reputable leaker obutu3_, it seems that Rainbow Six Siege is prepping for another mid season event. Found in the test server’s game files are wild west-themed headgears and uniforms for numerous operators.
Wild West Cosmetics
As the cosmetics shown follow a very distinct theme, we can expect them to be part of a seasonal event. Ubisoft has previously experimented with limited time events, such as last year’s Outbreak and Halloween event. We’ve learned from the recent April Fool’s event that the company isn’t afraid of trying out zany ideas.
Seen in the images above are cosmetics for five defenders and four attackers. It seems there’s also a universal legendary weapon skin, not dissimilar to the Six Invitational weapon skin found in the 2019 Collection Packs.
As such, it wouldn’t be crazy to think that Ubisoft is working on a Wild West event. Usually these limited time events are accompanied with a unique game mode and premium packs containing themed cosmetics. As for the upcoming event, we don’t know anything about its functioning, but expect the cosmetics seen above to be available via premium packs.
Ranked seasonal rewards are being revamped starting from operation Burnt Horizon. The end-of-season bland ranked charms are being replaced with season-specific ones. Further leaks gave us a look at the upcoming ranked charms of Burnt Horizon and Phantom Sight.
Pro League Sets
New pro league sets for IQ and Tachanka were also spotted within the test server files.
Additionally, Rainbow Six Siege Youtubers and streamers are getting their own unique charms.
