Rainbow Six Siege Celebrates The Holiday Season By Handing Out Free “Holiday Packs”

With the holiday season finally here, game developers are celebrating the festivities in all forms. Rainbow Six Siege developer Ubisoft is joining in on the action by gifting all players a Holiday Pack. This unique alpha pack variant can be obtained by all players by simply logging on in the next few days.

Holiday Pack

Similar to the previous holiday season, Ubisoft has decided to gift players a free operator. The pack contains an operator that you haven’t unlocked from year one through year four. As each DLC operator costs 25,000 renown, unlocking them all can be a bit of a grind if you’re not a regular player. Opening the holiday pack will unlock at DLC operator at random.

For players who already have all the operators unlocked, Ubisoft has something else in store. For such cases, two Holiday Packs each containing part of a themed outfit for Montagne will be handed out for free. Last year, Ubisoft simply distributed 25,000 renown, the cost of one operator, to those who already had them all unlocked. This unique uniform and headgear set is only obtainable by those who already have all operators, so there’s an element of exclusivity to this wacky outfit.

Not all players find Montagne’s new uniform pretty, and personally I would’ve preferred receiving a renown gift. Currently, Rainbow Six Siege is running an event featuring exclusive themed cosmetics available only via the limited time Nighthaven pack.

In order to claim your Holiday Pack, simply log into Rainbow Six Siege before January 5th, 2020. The pack can be accessed under the alpha pack tab. If for some reason that pack does not show up, restart the game and it’ll show up.

In other related news, Rainbow Six Siege is prepping for a Olympics-style event for the upcoming Six Invitational in February. Credible leaks point to a “Stadium” map featuring new cosmetics for several operators.
