Announced at E3 last year, Rainbow Six Quarantine is an upcoming three-player, tactical co-op shooter. The game is set in the same universe as Rainbow Six Siege, and is based on the limited time Outbreak event that launched in Operation Chimera. Since its announcement, developer Ubisoft hasn’t revealed much about the game. Finally, months after its reveal, an alleged leak reveals a lot of information about the game.
The leak comes by way of Reddit user X_hard_rocker, who shared their findings on the Rainbow 6 subreddit. The leak contains a handful of fairly low resolution images of what seem to be the game guide. The source of the leak isn’t as authentic as some other Rainbow Six Siege ones we’ve seen in the past. The poster claims that the images, which have since been deleted, were found on a Rainbow Six Facebook page.
Rainbow Six Quarantine Leak
According to the leak, Quarantine shares a lot of elements with Siege, which lines up with what we know via official means. The images show several interesting details, including the game’s operator classes, loadouts, missions, and map structure.
The leak claims that Rainbow Six Quarantine will have a total of 21 operators divided into 3 classes: Assault, Recon, and Support. The list of playable characters is picked from Siege’s currently available operators such as Jager, Fuze, Ela, and more. Similar to Outbreak, enemies are also distributed into classes: Grunt, Smasher, Apex, Rooter, and Breacher. The image also showcases a few more enemies, but due to the low image quality, they’re hard to identify.
Furthermore, the leaked images contain references to Gameplay Loop, Operator Progression, Map Structure, and more. Since the smaller text is nearly impossible read, it makes me doubt the authenticity of the leak. Eagle-eyed fans pointed out that the images used for the operator portraits are outdated. However, considering that the leak discusses concepts that are not normally seen in fakes, it’s entirely possible that it is indeed authentic. Either way, take this leak with a pinch of salt.
With the Six Invitational rapidly approaching, expect to learn more details about Quarantine directly from Ubisoft very soon.
