PlayStation Exclusive Franchise Coming to Xbox Game Pass Day One, and Much More!
Hint! Long Running Baseball Series

It seems almost every other day now that there’s a new announcement of games coming to Xbox Game Pass. Coincidentally Microsoft just announced a new list of games coming to Game Pass soon, including GTA 5. The company also announced new features for XCloud and Game Pass on consoles.
Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud and Console) – April 8

This game needs no introduction; GTA 5, released back in 2013, still has a substantial player base. Rockstar has kept things fresh with a steady stream of updates over the years, and now you can hop-on for free with a Game Pass subscription.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 8

This is for the co-op lovers; Zombie Army 4 is the latest entry in the franchise, which was a spin-off of the Sniper Elite Series. Here you play as one of four characters fighting waves of Nazi Zombies while completing objectives.
Disneyland Adventures (Cloud) – April 8

This game has been on Game Pass for both console and PC for quite a while. Now Xbox Cloud users will also be able to play. The concept’s very simple; players get to explore a Disneyland Park Digitally with their beloved Disney characters.
Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure (Cloud) – April 8

This is another title coming to Xcloud now. Rush was originally a Kinect game before Microsoft remastered it for the Xbox One and PC. The game encompasses various Pixar movies like Toy Story and Cars.
NHL 21 (Console) EA Play – April 12

NHL is EA’s ice hockey simulation game developed by EA Vancouver (No surprises here!). The latest entry, NHL 21, most importantly improves the career mode, making it more interactive and adding new cinematics. The game received reasonably positive reviews from critics and will arrive on Game Pass this month.
Rain on Your Parade (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 15

This is an indie title coming day one on Xbox Game Pass. The devs describe it as a slapstick comedy game where you play as a mischievous cloud determined to ruin everybody’s day.
Pathway (PC) – April 15

Another indie game coming to Xbox Game Pass this month, although just on PC. It is a strategy adventure game featuring turn-based combat and unique story encounters.
MLB The Show 21 (Cloud and Console) – April 20

This is another day one release coming to Game Pass this month. Interestingly MLB games were previously exclusive to the PlayStation brand; this year, however, Sony is not limiting the game’s release.
Xbox Touch Controls for More Games

Microsoft seems very committed to XCloud, and the number of cloud-enabled titles keeps growing every month. However, not all games have Touch controls, meaning you need a controller to play it on your device. Keeping this in mind, Xbox today announced Xbox Touch Controls’ arrival to 50+ games, including but not limited to Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, and Slay the Spire.
Last September, we were thrilled to launch our first game with Xbox touch controls – Minecraft Dungeons. Since then, touch controls remain one of the top-requested features for cloud gaming, to unlock new ways to play on your Android mobile devices without the need for an external controller.

There’s More – New PlayWithFriends Section on Game Pass for Console

Xbox is adding a new section to Game Pass. This Play With Friends section will showcase games played by your friends on Game Pass. Players can instantly join an open lobby through this section or download the game if it’s not installed.
Leaving Soon
It’s time to say farewell to the following games leaving the Xbox Game Pass library on April 15, as well as a batch of EA Play games to be delisted from The Play List on April 16. You know the drill, be sure to show these games some love before they go (calling all Achievement hunters here)!
If you want to keep the fun going, you can use your Game Pass member discount to save up to 20% on games leaving the Game Pass library, while Ultimate and PC members can save up to 10% on EA Play games.
