Peaky Blinders Recreated As A Game in Unreal Engine 5

A concept video for a Mafia-themed Peaky Blinders game has been released surprising many of the show’s enthusiasts.

Fans of the popular gangster family TV series are hoping for a good game adaptation after seeing this recreation of the show in Epic’s new engine, created by artist and YouTuber “TeaserPlay.” This concept video also uses screen space reflections, Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite micro-polygon geometry, the engine’s Lumen lighting technology, and the MetaHuman framework in addition to ray-tracing.

Peaky Blinders fans should really enjoy this interesting concept video, which you can view below:

The game is a realistic, physical experience that takes place in a moody 1920s England. In moments of subversion, wish fulfillment, narrative intrigue, and exciting set pieces, players will decide their course to see how the story will pan out.

Ian Hambleton, CEO of developer Maze Theory said:

For the first time, fans will have access to believable and responsive characters from Peaky Blinders, coming face-to-face with Tommy Shelby and encountering first-hand some terrifying situations. It’s an intense and thrilling experience.”

At Maze Theory, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of entertainment and creating highly innovative fan and gaming experiences. We’re very excited to be giving fans and VR enthusiasts access to the Peaky Blinders’ world, transporting them back to 1920s Birmingham and putting them in iconic locations such as The Garrison and Charlie’s Yard.”

Due to the magnificent graphical portrayal of vintage games, updated versions of many titles, including The Witcher 3 and Scarface: The World is Yours, have swept the internet by storm. It is fascinating to see developers at work on such projects since it transports the audience to a bygone era.
