Press renders showing the mid-range OPPO Reno version had been leaked online last week, giving us a clear look at the smartphone’s design in multiple colors. The first press render of the flagship OPPO Reno model has now been leaked online, confirming the presence of a triple-camera setup on the back, with a periscope-style telephoto lens.
The press renders accessed by the folks over at IndiaShopps show the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom in the Fog Green color option. For the most part, it appears almost identical to the mid-range Reno smartphone that had leaked online recently. The only major difference is the presence of an additional camera at the rear. The third sensor on the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom, as its rumored name clearly suggests, will allow the smartphone to offer 10x hybrid zoom.
The flagship OPPO Reno smartphone is expected to make its global debut on April 24th at a launch event in Zurich, Switzerland. OPPO is holding a launch event in China on April 10th for the Reno series, although it isn’t clear if the flagship model will be made official on the same day. As several recent leaks have confirmed, OPPO is likely to release multiple new OPPO Reno series smartphones this month.
OPPO Reno 10X Zoom, like most other 2019 flagship Android smartphones, will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The smartphone is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal memory. It is expected to have a 6.65-inch Full HD+ resolution Dynamic AMOLED panel with an impressive 93.1% screen-to-body ratio.
As can be seen in the renders above, the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom will have no display notch or a punch-hole for the selfie camera. The selfie camera will be housed inside a pop-up camera mechanism shaped like a Shark fin.
