OnePlus’s Second Take on Television: Three Variants To Come up to 55-inches

Its been quite a while since OnePlus talked about going into a different direction. The company started off with budget consumer smartphones and today has become a giant. One problem though, the flagship killer is in the flagship territory. While not the most expensive phone on the table, OnePlus devices are quite expensive now. OnePlus believes it needs to focus more on the budget-oriented markets now. Additionally, the company has been working on a new iteration of its affordable smartphone. Not to mention, we would be seeing the new OnePlus TV too.

Now, according to the tweet above, Ishan Agarwal comments that the company would be coming out with three new variants. The devices would obviously be differently sized with sizes ranging from 32-inches up to 55-inches. According to the tweet, we have already seen signs of the 55-inch model when Amazon had the listing for bracketing accessories for the TV. Not to mention, we would see these TVs not really breaking the bank at all.

Designed specifically for markets such as India, the company would price its TVs as such:

  • The 32-inch model would come in under INR 20K (about $265)
  • The 43-inch model would come in under INR 30K (about $400)
  • The 55-inch model would come in under INR 50K (about $660)

Now, it is uncertain what the exact prices would be. It is also unsure what would be the exact specs of the devices and the resolutions each model would support. One thing is for sure though, if you plan on saving your money and getting a good product, OnePlus is a company you can easily trust.
