OnePlus Finally Announces Release Date for Upcoming Flagships

OnePlus 11 5G is going to be unveiled in an event in February

According to a teaser released by the company recently, the OnePlus 11 5G will be unveiled in India on 7th February 2023. The event dubbed ‘Cloud 11’ will also feature the announcement of the much-anticipated OnePlus Buds Pro 2.

OnePlus flagships always feature bleeding edge hardware, and the OnePlus 11 5G won’t be any different in this regard. The phone is going to feature Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. As for the display, recent rumors have pointed to the use of a 6.7″ QHD+ AMOLED panel, likely with support for a dynamic refresh rate with LTPO. 

OnePlus 11 Pro specifications include a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, the tipster told 91mobiles. The phone will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which Qualcomm is expected to announce later this year.

You can expect the device to be offered with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The base model is likely to offer 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The “Witness the Shape of Power,” event teaser likely points to some sort of a fast-charging feature. According to a recent leak from 91Mobiles, the phone could get 100W fast-charging support, powered by a 5000mAh battery unit. 

OnePlus will also bring one of its most iconic features on the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G. Yes, the alert slider is coming back, after being omitted from the OnePlus 10T.
