Last we heard from OnePlus, the company was aiming to go back to its roots. While OnePlus came out to be the flagship killer, it has since then, increased in price. Naturally, the target demographic has changed. This has perhaps stemmed from the introduction of the company into the American market. They said they’d be focusing on the budget devices from now on which give ample performance for the everyday user. Then, news floated around about the OnePlus Z. The successor to the OnePlus X, OnePlus Z would have good specs for a reasonable price tag. Not a flagship but a complete device nonetheless.
.@androidcentral says that #OnePlusZ will launch on July 10 according to their source… The affordable #OnePlusTV Series is coming on July 2 (Watch livestream at 7PM in India). #OnePlus Truly Wireless Earphones will also come out in July. Exciting!

Now, in a tweet from Ishan Agarwal, who collaborates with Android Central, said that OnePlus is set to announce their device on the 10th of July. That means, in a month’s time, we may just see the actual roots of the company fly in again. In a compilation of the leaked and expected specs of the OnePlus Z, we covered these in an article on our platform as well. An overall review suggests that it would feature a Snapdragon 765 processor, just short of the latest Snapdragon 865 from the company. It would also have support for 5G connectivity, on par with most devices on the market today.
Additionally, the tweet suggests that the company would take this opportunity to launch their TV as well. It should not be confused with the first iteration, instead, is the more affordable one from the company. This would be in an event on the 2nd of July. Considering we are in lockdown mode, companies can take advantage of live streaming events without splurging too much. They also claim that it would be in this month (July), the TWS earbuds from the company would see daylight as well.
