OnePlus Nord To Have Optical Image Stabilization For Back Cameras

Just now, we got to know about the OnePlus Nord launch event. In an “accidental” tweet from Ishan, we saw him announce it. The tweet showed that the OnePlus Nord would come out on July 21. It would be coupled with an AR event segment as well. Perhaps, this would likely be the device in real-time. We saw something similar from Apple when they announced the latest generation of Mac Pro.
Anyway, coming back to the OnePlus Nord, we only know a couple of details about the device. Let’s look at what we know right now. Currently, from the recent advert from the company, we saw that it would have a similar design to smartphones we have seen before. We saw that it would ditch the curved display as well. Not to mention, we see that the device would have two front cameras.
Speaking of the cameras, there wasn’t much information about the back cameras. We did see a rather subtle camera module but nothing special. Well, we got some information about the cameras on the back. From a tweet from Ishan, we found something more interesting about the OnePlus Nord. According to the tweet embedded below, we can see that the device would have OIS built-in. OIS or Optical Image Stabilization, we can see that OnePlus has put a clear focus on the cameras.
#OnePlusNord’s camera system will feature Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). I would like if more and more midrange phones get this feature. It’s useful for people with shaky hands (like me) and night photography. #nord #oneplus #NewBeginnings pic.twitter.com/tAlWXhLS2w

Not to mention, according to the reports regarding the price for the phone, at under $500, this would make it a great competitor in the range. Not to mention, it would clearly be competing with devices from Apple (SE) and Google (Pixel 4a).
