While it hasn’t been long since OnePlus debuted its latest OnePlus 8T, the company is all set to come out with another one. This time, it may be the major incremental update people were looking for after the OnePlus 8. While the OnePlus 8T did have interesting features, it lacked what warrants an upgrade over the previous one. Now, wind about the OnePlus 9 is everywhere and some in-depth information has surfaced. According to an article from WCCFTECH, we look at leaks from PhoneArena about the upcoming device from the company.
Now, certain photos have surfaced of the phone which gives us an in-depth look at what the OnePlus 9 would feature. Firstly, we look at the internals. Many reports and leaked screenshots have revealed that it would feature the latest Snapdragon 888 processor from Qualcomm. This perfectly does make sense since the company pushes out its flagship in this category. Apart from that, the photos emerged tell us more detailed stories.
The photos show how the phone would have a curved glass back but a flat display on the front. Not to mention, this would feature a punch-hole camera design. Reports claim that this would be a 1080p panel, much in line with OnePlus’ style. It would feature a 120Hz display though: this is a big plus. On the back, the camera bump is redesigned to give a completely new take. This is new for OnePlus though since the design looks quite iterative to the Samsung Note 20 Ultra series. This is something typical from the Chinese company as well: taking “inspiration” from Samsung’s flagships. We would know better and more details once more information is revealed.
