Oneplus 7 Prototype Leaked; Sports A Camera Similar to the Lumia 1020

After releasing the OnePlus 6T in November this year, OnePlus recently announced the McLaren edition of the OnePlus 6T. The latest edition comes with more memory and an exclusive “Wrap Charge 30” feature. Seems like OnePlus is working on its next flagship sooner than we expected. At least, as per leaks.

As Win Future reports, a picture was leaked by  Twitter user Ishan Agarwal where we see OnePlus Ceo Pete Lau – “and shows a new design prototype that could eventually become the “OnePlus 7″”. The prototype doesn’t look either like the OnePlus 6, or the 6t so it’s definitely a new device. One of the most striking features of the leaked prototype is the camera.

As we can see in the image, the camera is strikingly similar to the Lumia 1020. We see three designs of the different models in the picture. First, we have OnePlus managers discussing a design on the screen. The device on screen sports a wide strip in the middle of the camera module. This is likely a xenon flash we saw in the Lumia 1020, but there is no certainty regarding the same. The camera is significantly larger than the ones on the OnePlus devices we have seen till date.

Secondly, we see one of the guys holding a prototype in his hand. This device is almost similar to the one we see on the screen. Finally we see another red-colored prototype lying on the table. The one one the table has a different form factor. It features rounded edges and a different camera hump position. But, rest of the features look almost similar.

Given that there is a lot of ambiguity around the leak, nothing can be said for sure. But, one thing is for sure. One Plus is definitely working on its next flagship. We might see more leaks regarding the same in the days to come, and that’d help us know more about the upcoming device.
