Today, in an entirely out of the blue announcement, Bandai Namco has unveiled an upcoming fighting game based on the popular anime One Punch Man. Check out the announcement trailer below:
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is an arena fighting game in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official description, the game features 3v3 battles in which players can play as Saitama, Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, Mumen Rider and many more.
According to Bandai Namco’s Associate Brand Manager, players will be able to “immerse themselves in the ONE-PUNCH MAN world and form their own teams, develop their skills and fight to see who is the strongest of them all!”
Last night saw the announcement of a One Punch Man mobile game, and now it seems we have another officially licensed game in the works. I’d imagine One Punch Man fans are pretty excited about the series’ first console brawler.
Let us know your thoughts about One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Is it just another arena fighter, or does it have potential to be a lot more?
