Nvidia Next Generation Mainstream GPU Coming In The Next 3 Months

Next Generation GPU To Be Talked About At Hot Chips 30

Nvidia Next Generation Mainstream GPU is something that we have been waiting for and we have heard that it will be will be a tweaked version of Nvidia Volta without all the AI stuff. While there has been little information regarding the Nvidia Next Generation mainstream GPU, it seems that the graphics cards will be announced at hot chips 30.

At Hot Chips 30 symposium Stuart Oberman will talk about Nvidia’s next-gen mainstream GPU.  Nvidia has been very clever not to reveal any kind of code name and the next generation gaming GPU could be anything, Pascal refresh, Volta, Ampere, Turing, who knows.

While there is little that we know about the upcoming graphics cards, we do know that the GPUs will feature GDD6 memory as seen in multiple reports. The mass production of these upcoming graphics cards also lines up well with the production and supply of GDD6. If you are interested in learning more about the upcoming Nvidia Next Generation mainstream GPU, then the Hot Chips event will take place on August 20th to be exact.

We should get more information regarding the upcoming mainstream graphics cards at the event and we might get a sneak peek into the performance of the graphics card and what kind of a performance boost we can expect to get as compared to the graphics cards that we already have on the market as well as the competition.

Keeping in mind Nvidia Pascal has been around for 2 years not, we can expect to see some serious performance gains from the next generation Nvidia graphics cards. Keep in mind that just because we are getting an announcement does not mean that the cards will be launched this year. It is possible that the cards will be announced in August but will come out later in 2019.

We will have to wait and see what we are going to get in the upcoming few months. If the graphics cards are indeed coming out in the upcoming few months then we should get a few leaks as we get closer to the event.

Let us know what you think about the Nvidia Next Generation mainstream GPU and whether or not this is something that you are interested in getting.
