NVIDIA Launches Two New Apps To Take Advantage Of Advanced RTX Performance Available With New Ampere-based GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards
NVIDIA has officially unveiled its latest GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards which are based on the new Ampere Architecture. These advanced and powerful GPUs bring with them the AI-boosted power of Ray Tracing capabilities, which will not only help professional multimedia editors but also enhance gaming. Alongside the new graphics cards, NVIDIA has also launched two new apps that will be available as part of the NVIDIA Studio.

NVIDIA has announced: NVIDIA Broadcast and NVIDIA Omniverse Machinima, which will be part of the NVIDIA Studio. The company is offering them for free to the NVIDIA RTX users. According to the company, the NVIDIA Broadcast app upgrades any room into an AI-powered home broadcast studio. It utilizes standard webcams and microphones and effectively turns them into smart devices, offering audio noise removal, virtual background effects, and webcam auto framing compatible with most popular live streaming, video conferencing, and voice chat applications.
The NVIDIA Omniverse Machinima is an app that lets creators narrate stories with video game assets, animated by NVIDIA AI technologies. Through NVIDIA Omniverse, creators can import assets from supported games or most third-party asset libraries, then automatically animate characters using an AI-based pose estimator and footage from their webcam. NVIDIA assures characters’ faces can come to life with only a voice recording using NVIDIA’s new Audio2Face technology.
Apart from these new apps, NVIDIA is also updating GeForce Experience, the companion app for GeForce GPUs, to support desktop and application capture for up to 8K and HDR, enabling creators to record video at incredibly high resolution and dynamic range. These apps are supported by NVIDIA Studio Drivers, which the company assures, provides optimal levels of performance and reliability.

The Ampere generation Titan card sports 10496 CUDA Cores, 36 Shader-TFLOPS, 69-RT-TFLOPS, 285 Tensor-TFLOPS, and 24 GB of GDDR6X running at a boost clock of 1.7GHz using a card power of 350W. The RTX 3090 will be available on September 24 for an MSRP of $1499.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 features 8704 CUDA Cores, 30 Shader-TFLOPS, 58 RT-TFLOPS, and 238 Tensor-TFLOPS and packs 10 GB of GDDR6X at a 1.71GHz boost clock using 320W of board power. NVIDIA claims that the RTX 3080 will perform twice as fast as the previous generation RTX 2080. It will start at an MSRP of $699 and will be available starting September 17.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 is reportedly faster than the top-end graphics card from NVIDIA’s previous generation leader, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. It features 5888 CUDA Cores, 20 Shader-TFLOPS, 40 RT-TFLOPS, 163 Tensor-TFLOPS, and packs 8 GB of GDDR6 memory at a 1.73GHz boost clock using 220W of card power. It will start at $499 and be available in October.
