Samsung’s Note series have always consistently been one of the best smartphone releases every year. They take all the great hardware and software features from the S series and refine it and pakage it in the Note series phones.
This year it is no different and the Note 9 comes with a similar camera as the S9 plus with a bit of AI added in and they have same Snapdragon 845 chip. The Note 9 is diffrentiated from it’s bigger display, bigger battery and the S pen integration.
Samsung uses the same Experience UI on the Note 9 and it might feel a bit bloated to many users, specifically people who are not very fond of the Bixby integration. The kernel of the device was just released a few days back and now we have the first unofficial version of TWRP recovery on the Note 9.
This was made by XDA Senior Member geiti94 and only for the Exynos version of the Note 9. TWRP recovery is a very important software for further modifications as it enables the flashing of various modules and ROMS. According to geiti94, the current version of the TWRP recovery is bug free.
We also have the first ROM for Note 9, built by dr.ketan who is a XDA Recognized Developer. Although this ROM is based on Samsung Experience UI built on Android Oreo, it has many extra features like optional Magisk root in AROMA installer and extra themes.
Please follow the installation instructions properly otherwise you can brick your phone. Neither us, nor the developers will be responsible for any damage that comes to your phone because of this installation. You can download the ROM here and the TWRP recovery here.
