OnePlus announced their latest flagship device, the OnePlus 6T at their live event that’s happening in New York City. The company has always aspired to be very competitive with their phones may it be the pricing or the camera.
OnePlus, at their live event, announced a ‘Nightscape’ feature that will be coming to not only their latest 6T devices but also on the existing OnePlus 6 devices through a software update. The new Nightscape HDR has been in development and was perfected in time for the launch of the 6T device.
This Nightscape mode will allow users to take much better photographs in low light conditions through their technology of software optimization, multi-frame stabilization as well as noise reduction. OnePlus also claims that in their night-mode, the device will be able to capture a photo in the HDR mode in only 2 seconds as opposed to the 5 seconds that it takes in most Android smartphones.
OnePlus says that they have done this because in a handheld situations the user wants to capture the photo and capture the moment, simply put the night mode will allow the user to capture the image in only 2 seconds.
In the end of the Nightscape module of the presentation, OnePlus revealed that the Nightscape update wont be exclusive to the OnePlus 6T and because it was a suggestion they received from existing OnePlus 6 owners, they will also roll out an update on the existing OnePlus 6 devices that will allow them to make full use of the Nightscape feature.
