New OnePlus 7 Leak Hints At A Bezel-less Display with Slider Mechanism

A picture has been leaked of the OnePlus 7. The picture was leaked on Slashleaks by a user who goes by the username INCEPTIONTOILET.

Previously, INCEPTIONTOILET got the Xiaomi Airdots Pro design leak right. We cannot confirm how legitimate this picture is as of this moment, but the user who leaked the picture does have a 100% accuracy rate.

It seems that OnePlus won’t be sticking with the teardrop notch which the OnePlus 6T rocked. There will also be no chin on the bottom of the phone. Furthermore, it seems that it will feature a sliding mechanism. But it will be interesting to see what sensors are put alongside the front cam.

Specification Leaks

Unfortunately, The OnePlus 7 photo leak does not give us much insight into the specifications of the phone. But previous leaks suggest that the phone will be coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. We can expect to see 8 GB of RAM become the standard on the OnePlus 7, with variants going up till 12 GB of RAM. OnePlus 7 will also reportedly come with Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 3.0.

Twitter leaker Ice Universe revealed “The next OnePlus” will deliver high sequential reads of 2279.8MB/s, sequential writes of 1801.1MB/s. The Phone will reportedly stick with the 6.41in AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Unfortunately, the resolution is rumored to be Full HD + and not Quad-HD due to price constraints. It will be interesting to see if OnePlus implements a triple camera set-up on the OnePlus 7 or if they include waterproofing.

The OnePlus 7 is expected to launch in May/June of 2019. It’s expected that the phone will start at £499.
