New Leak Suggests that Both GTX 1650 and Core i7-9750H will be Around 28% Faster than their Respective Predecessors

We have been hearing rumors revolving around the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card for quite some time now. This time around the leaks around the GTX 1650 includes offering from team intel too. A famous whistle-blower momomo_us leaked the slides containing information of both the new CPU and GPU on Twitter. These slides include information about the Intel’s 9th gen Core i7-9750H and Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650.

Both these new offerings were listed for the new MSI GL63 laptop. If the leaks are to be trusted the laptop will feature both key components alongside 16GB DDR4 memory and 512GB Nvme PCIe SSD. The laptop will boast a 1080p IPS panel and will only weigh around 2 kg.

Coming back to the leak itself, let’s see what the Core i7-9750H and GTX 1650 bring to the table.

Intel Core i7-9750H

Starting with Intel’s offering, the flagship 9th gen Core i7-9750H (mobile CPU). It will be based on the aged 14nm manufacturing process. Although using the 14nm process to manufacture the node with the new architecture will allow Intel to reach phenomenal clock speeds. Though the yield will not be higher compared to the 12nm process, the increased clock speeds would definitely help in cranking up the framerates.

Upcoming Intel Mobile processor

According to the slide, the new processor will be around 28% faster than its 8th gen counterpart and almost twice as fast as the reigning Core i7-7700H with the same TDP. Needless to say, the new processor will go head to head against the upcoming Ryzen 3750H. We expect Intel’s offering to be faster but Ryzen might be better all around due to its competitive pricing.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650

We have already covered some leaks around the GeForce GTX 1650 at length here. However, the slides regarding the GTX 1650 give more information about the benchmarks and the VRAM. The GTX 1650 will be released with 4GB VRAM (GDDR5). According to the leaked 3D mark figures, the GTX 1650 will be around 41% faster than its Pascal counterpart and 28% faster than the GTX 1050Ti.

Leaked Benchmarks

The slides do not include the specifications, although previous rumors have pretty much laid out the specifications of the graphics card. Around a thousand CUDA cores and 128-bit bus constitutes a single precision performance of around 3 TFLOPS. Leaked gaming benchmarks suggest that the GTX 1650 will be a good esports/ Battle Royale graphics card. Since it was able to offer around 75+ FPS in almost every popular Battle Royale and eSports games at 1080p. Many old AAA titles such as GTA V or AC: Black Flag will also be a piece of cake for the GTX 1650.

Finally, we are expecting the gaming laptops with Intel’s processor to be well above the $1000 USD category. AMD’s offerings might be better for budget buyers, but if you want to squeeze out every frame, Intel’s the way to go.
