MSI to Unveil Industry’s First 4K & Mini-LED 144Hz Laptop at CES 2023

According to a recent announcement by MSI, their forthcoming TITAN GT77 HX 13V Laptop will be the first in the industry to have a 4K & 144Hz Mini LED display. Specifications of the laptop were leaked out a few weeks ago which confirmed that it would feature Intel’s latest Raptor Lake-HX 13th Gen CPUs and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 GPU family.

The screen also has VESA’s DisplayHDR 1,000 certification, in case a 4K mini-LED laptop display at 144Hz isn’t enough. This indicates that its maximum brightness is 1,000 nits. Additionally, according to MSI, it has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, which is comparable to laptop panels like the Alienware 34 QD-OLED.

The Titan GT77 HX laptop may be the only one with this display for a long, according to MSI, which claims an exclusive collaboration with AUO and their AmLED display technology. It’s likely that additional laptops may soon use it, but MSI seemed satisfied that the Titan GT77 will be the first laptop to feature it.

AmLED technology powered by AUO

The Titan GT77’s display has a super-wide 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut to show as much colour as possible, which precisely satisfies the requirement for immersive gaming or entertainment. Last but not least, every Mini LED panel on Titan GT77 will undergo a rigorous inspection before assembly due to MSI’s exclusive True Color technology, which guarantees the most accurate colour reproduction to every enthusiast across the world.

More exclusive features could be anticipated for the new Titan GT77, which will be formally introduced at CES 2023. These features could include industry-leading processing power and next-generation GeForce laptop GPU performance, which can drive more game frames and be exquisitely displayed with the world’s first 4K/144Hz Mini LED display.
