Motorola recently unveiled the Moto Edge 30 Pro in global markets and it seems like the company is preparing to launch the regular (non-pro) version of the phone, the Moto Edge 30. The device will be a successor of Motorola Edge 20 which was launched about 9 months ago.
A report from 91Mobiles has earlier revealed renders and key specs of the phone. Motorola has not made any official announcements about the launch, however given the recent leaks we expect the phone to launch soon.
Meanwhile today we have managed to obtain European prices, full specs, alongside all high resolution renders of Motorola Edge 30. Let’s take a look at them!
Motorola Edge 30 specifications
On front the phone will come with a 6.5-inch size pOLED display made by LG. The display will offer FHD+ (Full High Definition) resolution with 1080 x 2400 pixel count. Further it will support a maximum screen refresh rate of 144 Hertz.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G Mobile Platform. This processor debuted last year with HONOR 60 Pro. The Snapdragon 778G Plus is very similar to Snapdragon 778G, except that the Plus version offers higher base clock speed of 2.5 GHz compared to 2.4 GHz present in regular version.
Motorola Edge 30 will share similar camera specs from its Pro version. On the back, the phone will feature a triple camera setup, consisting of 50MP Primary lens with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 50MP Wide-Angle lens and a 2MP lens for Portrait photography. The center aligned punch-hole display will carry a single 32MP selfie shooter.
The device will pack a 4020 mAh Lithium-ion battery with 33W Turbo Power charging support. The charging brick will be provided in the box. For security the phone will utilize an under-display fingerprint scanner alongside face unlock. In the software department, the phone will ship with latest Android 12 OS and a bloatware-free stock Android UI.
Motorola Edge 30 will measure 159 x 74 x 6.7 millimeter in dimensions and 155 grams in weight. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2, Dual SIM, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2.4 GHz/5 GHz/6 GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, Glonass, Galileo. Sensors list includes Proximity, Ambient light, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer sensor.
Motorola Edge 30 Prices, Color and Storage options:
The phone will be offered in Grey, Silver and Green color options. The base 6GB + 128GB option will cost EUR 549, while the 8GB + 256GB option will cost EUR 649. Storage and color configurations may vary depending upon the country. The device is expected to go on sale from May 5 in Europe.
