A New Monster Hunter Game Is Likely to Be Revealed at the 2023 Tokyo Game Show

With Monster Hunter Rise‘s release date approaching, it appears that we will be seeing another game in this series very soon. Monster Hunter Rise has been out for a while now on Nintendo Switch and PC, but it was not until recently that Capcom announced that the console versions of the game would be released in January for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition to this, it has been speculated that a new game in the series is currently being developed and that it will be unveiled quite soon.

Capcom hasn’t said much about the new game that will be coming out. However, in an interview with Famitsu, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto discussed the team’s current goals, as well as what fans can expect from the company in the upcoming year.

Despite the lack of specific information, it seems likely that Capcom will reveal the next installment in the series at the event, especially since Sunbreak will no longer be receiving updates and support by then. It can be speculated that development is currently in the works and so, it might not be long before we see the next game in the series. For reference, Tokyo Game Show is only nine months away (September 2023).

Since Ryozo Tsujimoto has refrained from providing any specifics at this time, it is obvious that all of this is just speculation at this point. We know that Capcom is hard at work on other projects, and it will be interesting to see what the company has in store for its fans for the upcoming year.

Leave a comment below with your thoughts on this announcement, as well as whether or not you believe that Capcom will announce their upcoming Monster Hunter game in 2023, given that it has been almost two years since Monster Hunter Rise was released.
