It has been no secret that Microsoft has been working to bring dark mode to its Mail and Calendar app. According to reports, the company is rolling out a new update that will update the app for everyone in dark mode. The update v16005.11231.20142.0 is finally bringing the dark mode to the Mail and Calendar app.
Dark Mode Update
The only problem that seems to be with the Dark Mode update is that it is not available for everyone yet. The update is only available for users who are on the Release Preview ring. So if you are on the Release Preview ring, then you can update your Mail and Calendar app by heading to the Microsoft Store right now.
For the users who are not on the Release Preview ring, they will have to wait for a while. It is expected that Microsoft will roll out the update soon for all the users of Windows 10. Before the release of this update, we have been seeing only the snapshots of the Dark Mode of the app. This is the first time that a full preview of the Dark Mode theme is available.
Microsoft had to work hard to introduce the Dark Mode to its Mail and Calendar app. At first, the tech giant introduced a toggle button through which users could switch between the dark mode and light mode easily. But last month, Microsoft added another feature where users could just switch the right panel between the light and dark mode.
Microsoft is not the only one that has introduced the Dark Mode feature on its app. Recently Microsoft introduced Dark Mode feature for Google Chrome for Windows 10 and Mac OS. OneNote Windows 10 app also introduced the Dark Mode theme.
