Microsoft Surface Laptop Go To Start At $699 Featuring Core i5 1035G1, 8GB RAM:
Microsoft is about to release its aggressively priced Surface Laptop Go, a thin and lightweight work laptop. According to previously leaked benchmark, the Surface Laptop Go, codenamed Sparti, packs Intel’s 10th Generation Core i5 1035G1 processor.
The Intel Core i5 1035G1 processor is not equipped for heavy-duty tasks. Instead, the CPU is a power-efficient processor for slim and low-end devices. It is based on the Ice -Lake-U generation. The Core i5 1035G1 is a 4 Core 8 Thread CPU with a Base Clock of just 1GHz. However, its Boost Clock Speeds can reach 3.6 GHz. Although details are a little confusing, it seems only two cores can actually reach 3.6 GHz as they are Sunny Cove cores.

The slightly higher-end variant of the laptop will reportedly pack 8GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD storage. The top-end will reportedly have 16GB RAM and 256 GB SSD.
All the variants of the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go will feature a 12.45-inch PixelSense LCD display with a screen resolution of 1536×1024. In other words, Microsoft has not even embedded a decent Full HD (1080p) display within the Surface Laptop Go.

The connectivity, interface, and expansion options on the laptop include USB-A/C, Surface Connect, 3.5mm headphone jack, WIFI 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a fingerprint reader in the power button, and Windows Hello support.
Neither leaked listings nor Microsoft hasn’t offered any information about the battery capacity. However, reports indicate the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go can stretch battery for about 13 hours of operation, which is quite a feat.
