Microsoft Store Updated to Version 11806.1001.15.0 Now includes Departments

Microsoft has updated it’s Store app on Desktop and Phones to version 11806.1001.15.0 for insiders with the inclusion of “Departments” which technically makes it easier to browse in-store applications in different categories adding to a useful and friendly user interface.

The improvements that have been brought through the update include acrylic design elements for the newly added “Department” section in Microsoft Store app.

According to the Changelog:

We are now going to version 11806.1001.15.0, to follow the innovations introduced:

  • Fluent Design for the departments department:The few lucky users who have already activated the departments functionality, with this new version will introduce the fluent design.
  • App list display improvements:Individual developer applications are now displayed with greater spacing between them.

The introduction of acrylic design to the app’s department section is now making it look more complete than the previous versions. Along with this new design, an improvement in the spacing between apps from individual developers has also been included.

This latest update is now available for Windows 10 Insiders who have been enrolled in the Release Preview Ring of the Windows Insider Program.
