Microsoft Introduces Surface Hub 2

Microsoft talked about the emergence of the new work culture where the team is given importance.

The company states,

“I see it with our team daily. People coming together, creating together. Making products stronger through collaboration, whether they’re in the same room or separated by thousands of miles. Today’s most effective businesses have a team-based, collaborative culture and place an emphasis on enabling creativity and productivity. In fact, companies that promote collaborative working are five times as likely to be high-performing.

Hence, Microsoft introduces to the world its new “Surface Hub 2.” It allows you to collaborate with your colleague from home, office or even while you are on the go.

Microsoft states,

“Today, I’m excited to introduce that device, the next generation – Surface Hub 2.”

Unlock the power of the team

Surface Hub 2 was designed keeping in mind the requirements that a team need to communicate and work together. It is an ideal way to connect and ideate, regardless of the location that you are in. The new Surface Hub 2 is sleeker, agile and easy to fit in any work environment. It comes with 4K+ 50.5” multi-touch display, which helps in creating an invitation canvas, so as to co-create, harnessing the power of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, Office 365, Windows 10 and the intelligent cloud. It also comes with a 4K camera that rotates with the device, along with integrated speakers and far-field mic array, which will make anyone feel as if they are in the same room as the rest of the team.

Perfect for any space

The Surface Hub 2 can easily scale and adapt to your surrounding and space, through tilting up the 4 screens together in landscape or portrait view. It also comes with dynamic rotation, which would allow you to use the best orientation for your content so as to help everyone at work, as per their requirements.

The company states,

“It is also significantly easier to move around your workspaces than its predecessor. We’ve teamed up with workplace expert Steelcase to create a system of rolling stands and easy-to-use mounts to help Surface Hub 2 customers be truly mobile, gain a new perspective and capture their ideas wherever they do their best work.”

Working together with tiling and multi-user sign in

It also comes with the tiling features. Now you and your team can use the magic of tiling and work simultaneously across Microsoft Whiteboard, Power BI, PowerPoint and a full view video call.

You will now be able to experience multi-user sign in, multiple people can authenticate in the same Surface Hub 2 workspace allowing all of you to access documents and ideas at the same time.

The company concluded by saying,

“We started on the journey of empowering teams with the original Surface Hub and the value it provides has resonated with businesses worldwide. We’ve sold to more than 5000 customers across 25 markets. Over half of Fortune 100 companies have purchased Surface Hubs to improve team’s efficiency and how they collaborate –breaking down barriers and creating real business value. We believe our customers will love Surface Hub 2 even more.”
