Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake Announced for PS5

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is just announced at the PlayStation Showcase, but no announcement is made regarding the game’s release date. The game is slated to release Autumn 2023 on PS5. There were a lot of rumors surrounding the release and now it’s finally official!
The showcase showed off the game starting off with some high-rez ants. For a moment, the game looked to be some sort of a Grounded knock-off.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is series’ return to modern consoles. The remake from PS2, aims at recreating Hideo Kojima‘s original game. This was shown in the trailer embedded down below that captured the essence of this iconic jungle landscape.
After the showcase, we got a bit of insight into what the game has to offer, as some additional information was released, that confirmed that the remake will feature the original voices, including the presumed return of David Hayter as Snake.
Alongside Metal Gear Solid Δ, Konami also announced the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, that includes Metal Gear Solid and its first three games. The release is slated for Fall 2023, with platforms yet to be confirmed.

Simultaneously, we will deliver the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection series, the most complete compilation that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the series. The Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection will allow fans to play the games as they were, as first released on the latest platforms.
