Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Box Art Revealed: The Title is Coming Out Holiday Season 2020

During Sony’s special feature in which we finally got the first look for the console, we got to know about a bunch of titles for the next-generation console. One of them was Spider-Man: Miles Morales. In case you don’t know the context, do play the DLC for the Spider-Man game on PS4: The City that Never Sleeps or watch Sony’s amazing title, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse.

Anyway, being announced, there wasn’t much information on the title. While some believed that it would be additional downloadable content for the original game, other though it would be a slightly different iteration based on the original Spider-Man. Well, to all those people, they were wrong. According to what we know right now, the new game would be a sequel. Instead of being an additional downloadable content, it would be a standalone title. Not to mention, it would carry on from where the City the Never Sleeps ends.

While the story would be focused on Miles, it would have Peter’s involvement as well. Anyway, that is something for when the game finally comes out. Right now, something amazing happened. From the official Spider-Man Twitter account, we get the first official box art of the upcoming title.

To be honest, the art looks pretty slick. Not to mention, the PS5 logo on top really makes one feel that they are ascending to the next level. We can see Miles exhibiting his new powers (the charged up arm) and rocking that new black-red suit. In the caption, we see that this game would be coming out during holiday season this year. This means that this would be one of the games to get when users buy the new PS5. Perhaps this would also make it the new console selling point or even the other way around.
