Leaks iPad 10.8-inch Schematic Claims iPad Pro-like Design, Thinner Bezels and “Maybe” Face-ID

Apple really has the tablet game down. The company manages to make the number one sold tabs in the world. Heck, the company even broke its “sacred” rule of not making a cheaper device with the recent budget iPad. The device started off at $329 for the base model. This really made the iPad lineup easily accessible to every person out there. Now, for some time now, there have been certain rumours regarding an upcoming 10.8-inch iPad. A tweet from 9to5Mac spurs up the discussion.

Now, the tweet links to the leaks from 91Mobiles. This is a leak of the schematic for the upcoming model. For starters, the device features a design similar to that of the iPad Pro. This includes a smart connector, thinner bezels and a larger screen-to-body ratio. One thing that puts off the writer for the article as well, is the inclusion of the Face-ID sensor. This is because, at such a price point, the company simply would not offer a service such as Face-ID.
Not to mention, Kuo did mention that the company is set to come out with an iPad which would be 10.8-inch in size. But, one thing that the analyst added was that this iPad would have touch-ID integrated into the power button. This would honestly make sense given the budget-centric price point Apple wants to go for. This obviously puts both the “leaks” into question. My wager may be to go for the one from Kuo since that makes more sense. One simply cannot ignore 91Mobiles either since they have surfaced some legitimate news. Perhaps time would shed all our doubts right.
