Leaked Images of New Xbox Controller Confirms Series S To The Lineup

As we get closer to the holiday season, the fall and the fourth quarter of this year, the next-gen consoles become more relevant. But today, this isn’t about the next-gen consoles, no. It is instead about the upcoming, rumoured and perhaps, now, confirmed budget option from Xbox. We heard quite a while back that Xbox would be coming up with a budget console: The Series S. There were leaked renders of the consoles itself but nothing quite certain.
Now, we have some additional information actually confirming the product itself. In an article on The Verge and tweeted by Tom Warren, there are leaked images of a new controller from Xbox. This controller is different from the one we saw earlier, for the Xbox Series X. It is also in white, more simple.

Now, this seems a bit different as denoted in the article as well. It lacks the textured buttons from the Xbox Series X controller. Of course, this is the more budget option. Now, the interesting part comes in with the packaging. Upon inspecting the packaging, the quick guide has the supported devices for this controller. While the usual devices were mentioned there were two interesting ones. One, a more anticipated one, the Series X and the other the Series S. Now, we know that this most certainly confirms the budget console. Then it also means that the rumours about the console coming out sometime this month or early next month may just be true.
