iPhone 12 series: although a revolutionary step in certain cases is still an iPhone. There is no new stride the company has really achieved, in typical Apple manner. Now, there are still a couple of changes we are expecting from the device in the next generation. These include a special higher refresh rate panel, perhaps a bigger battery and even more sensors on the back for the camera. Something that has been a constant with iPhones is non-expandable storage. Now though, with iPhones starting off with 64GB of space at a minimum and going up to 512GB. Now according to Jon Prosser, that may just be changing.
hope y’all are ready for 1TB iphones

Now, the tweet is pretty concise and short. It claims that there may be 1TB variants of the iPhones coming. We doubt that this would be part of this year’s lineup but the next generation could have a variant. Now, for a phone to have 1TB of storage is not something everyone would request for. But, that is not the point, the thing to wonder about is how Apple would be conducting this new addition.
Perhaps Apple could increase the base storages once again but that would not really make sense. In Apple’s style, that would be giving the consumer so much for the money. Right now, in the iPhone 12 Pro the base storage is at 128GB. Increasing the base storage would either mean that the company would increase the prices too or that they would have to add another 1TB variant just for the Pro Max, making it compete directly with Samsung’s Ultra series.
In either case, we cannot take Jon’s word for granted since he has been on point for a lot of leaks and news in the past couple of months.
