Realme really made a mark when it announced and launched the Realme X2. It is now aiming, just by the end of 2019 to launch the device in India. The event is scheduled for the 17th this month.
Ahead of the launch though, there has been a recent leak, possibly from the management end. A tweet by Ishan Agarwal confirms that the prices for the models being launched have been leaked. The tweet can be seen here below.
According to the photo shared on the tweet itself, there are two models for the device. There is a 6GB RAM version which comes with a base storage of 128GB. On the other hand, there is an 8GB model, which too, comes with 128GB of internal storage. The pricing for the former is INR 19,999 while the latter tops out at INR 20,999. Both the devices come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 730G chip. This is an exciting fact since this would be the first device with such internals to go under the 20K price range. Not to mention, it also supports a massive 64MP shooter on the back. In the front, it has a 32MP sensor.
To look at the competition, it would genuinely be a winner. Looking at the K20 form Redmi, the device tops out at the same price, but then it only supports the Snapdragon 730 chipset. For the Realme, this is a more gaming-oriented chipset and would, therefore, deliver better performance.
Considering the specs and the price range, this would be an excellent device for a power user who has to remain in the budget range. Not to mention, in the price range, no other device in the competition offers similar specs. Thus granting Realme a first-mover advantage in this category, for the Indian market.
